The Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters will hold a healing and communication session for its On-site Safety Inspectors. These inspectors support firefighters in the field and are responsible for ensuring safety during operations.
The Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters announced on April 22 that it will host the "On-site Safety Inspectors Healing and Communication Forum" at Konjiam Resort in Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do, from April 23 to 25, with the participation of approximately 130 On-site Safety Inspectors.
This program was organized to provide On-site Safety Inspectors, who find it difficult to meet face-to-face due to their shift work, with opportunities for interaction, counseling, and psychological recuperation through healing programs.
Accordingly, the forum will include a dedicated session for discussions on safety policies between the headquarters and fire stations, allowing participants to share know-how and exemplary cases from each station.
Kim Jaebyung, Commissioner of the Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters, stated, "On-site Safety Inspectors are the ones who move first to reduce risks in the field. I believe that providing time for them to face each other and smile is, in itself, another form of safety policy, which is why we have organized this program."
