Han Donghun Raises Maximum Donation Limit in 11 Hours... 94% Small-Amount Donors

The fundraising committee for Han Donghun, a preliminary presidential candidate of the People Power Party and former party leader, reached the legal donation limit in approximately 11 hours on April 21.

The committee announced that the fundraising, which began at 9:00 a.m. that day, surpassed the legal limit of 2,940,000,000 won at around 7:55 p.m.

The total amount raised was 2,942,644,213 won, with a total of 35,038 donors.

The average donation per person was 83,984 won.

There were 32,893 small-amount donors who contributed 100,000 won or less, accounting for 93.9% of all donors.

Han's campaign stated, "We are grateful for the overwhelming support and will respond with a decisive victory together with the people."

The fundraising committee exceeded 1 billion won just 40 minutes after the campaign began, reaching this milestone at around 9:40 a.m. It then surpassed 2 billion won at approximately 2:03 p.m., about three hours later.
