Hwasun Jeonnam National University Hospital announced on April 21 that Junghee Lee, Head Nurse of the Ward Nursing Department, was elected as the president of the Jeonnam Hospital Nurses Association at the 25th Regular General Meeting of the association.

The Jeonnam Hospital Nurses Association is an influential organization with 4,690 members from 50 medical institutions in the Jeonnam region. The newly elected president, Junghee Lee, is expected to play an important role in improving regional medical services. The term of office is two years.

In her inauguration speech, President Junghee Lee stated, "I will take the lead in improving the working environment and raising the professional standards of hospital nurses in the Jeonnam region, thereby enhancing the professionalism and pride of nurses. I will also strive to create a better nursing environment through harmony and communication."
