The Korea Federation of SMEs announced on April 21 that it held the '2025 SME Cooperative Working-level Council Inauguration Ceremony.'
This working-level council was held in the Win-Win Room at the Korea Federation of SMEs in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. The council consists of 72 working-level staff members from 51 industry-specific SME cooperatives and organizations related to SMEs, with the goal of promoting information exchange between cooperatives and revitalizing joint projects.
During the council meeting, subcommittees were organized by business area to support SMEs, such as joint purchasing and sales, overseas market entry, and research and development (R&D). Through discussions, members shared the current status and know-how of joint projects and explored ways to further develop these initiatives. The meeting also included discussions on detailed operational plans for the council, as well as information exchanges on support systems and key issues related to joint projects.
Cho Jinhyung, Head of the Cooperative Division at the Korea Federation of SMEs, stated, "With the expansion of the network to include not only working-level staff from SME cooperatives but also those from related organizations, we expect broader information exchange and more active promotion of joint projects. We will continue to provide attention and support to ensure that this working-level network is successfully established."
