On April 21, the KOSPI index began trading in a narrow range as the South Korean and U.S. governments entered tariff negotiations and the corporate earnings season was set to begin in earnest. Dealers are seen working at the main branch dealing room of Hana Bank in Jung-gu, Seoul. On this day, the won-dollar exchange rate opened at 1,420 won, down 3.3 won from the previous trading day.
