Woman in Her Twenties Arrested for Attempting to Kill Boyfriend with Weapon After Suspecting Infidelity

A woman in her twenties has been apprehended by police for allegedly attempting to murder her boyfriend with a weapon after suspecting him of infidelity.

According to the Gwanak Police Station in Seoul on April 19, the woman, identified as A, was arrested at around 6:00 a.m. on charges of attempted murder and is currently under investigation.

A is accused of attempting to kill her boyfriend, identified as B and also in his twenties, with a weapon at a villa in Gwanak-gu, Seoul, at around 6:00 a.m. that day.

B sustained injuries to his face and other areas and was transported to a hospital for treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police investigations have revealed that A committed the act after suspecting her boyfriend of infidelity.

The police plan to further investigate A to determine the specific motive for the crime and are considering applying for an arrest warrant.
