원본보기 아이콘Jeonnam Province announced on April 18 that Jeonnam Province Master Artisans recently visited wildfire-affected areas in Cheongsong County and Andong City, Gyeongsangbuk-do, to provide meal services for displaced residents.
The volunteer work brought together a total of 10 people, including Jeonnam Province master chef Hye Kyung Cho, master artisans Kyung Jin Kim, Yong Deok Jang, Sang Won Choi, and contestants from Hansik Daecheop 3, who joined forces to offer support to wildfire victims.
In particular, in Cheongsong County, Chef Cho delivered 200 servings of abalone porridge, bananas, and relief supplies, all carefully prepared. In Andong City, the team served 200 warm meals, including sticky rice, saeal seaweed soup, side dishes, doenjang, and gochujang, helping residents recover both physically and emotionally.
A Jeonnam Province Master Artisan is recognized as someone who possesses the highest level of skilled expertise in one of 38 industrial fields and has contributed to the advancement of local skilled industries. Jeonnam Province selects up to five master artisans each year through applications in the second half of the year.
Chef Cho stated, "I sincerely hope that the daily lives of residents suffering from the recent wildfires will be restored," adding, "Together with the Jeonnam Province Master Artisans, I will continue to set an example for the community through our ongoing efforts."
