The Graduate School of Business at Sungkyunkwan University has officially begun accepting applications for new students for the Fall 2025 intake of its IMBA program. The IMBA is Korea's first online MBA program accredited by the Ministry of Education, and it offers an optimal learning environment based on more than 20 years of operational experience and accumulated expertise.

The greatest strength of the IMBA program lies in its flexible, online-based learning environment, which allows students to earn a regular master's degree in business administration without restrictions of time or location. As a result, not only those living outside the Seoul metropolitan area but also overseas residents can study without limitations. The program has received strong positive feedback from working professionals who need to balance both work and study.

The IMBA curriculum is built around core areas of business administration, such as marketing, finance, accounting, and organizational management. In addition to foundational theories, the program continuously develops courses that address current business trends, including AI, ESG, and the latest information systems, reflecting the rapidly changing industrial landscape.

All classes are taught directly by full-time faculty members of Sungkyunkwan University, ensuring a high level of educational quality. Support from tutors at the master's and doctoral levels helps students maintain consistent academic engagement even in an online environment. In addition, regular offline weekend classes are offered to supplement the limitations of online learning and provide a well-rounded educational system.

Another advantage of the Sungkyunkwan University Graduate School of Business IMBA is its diverse scholarship programs. Customized scholarships are available, including those for outstanding academic achievement and for overseas Koreans. More than 30% of current students receive scholarships, demonstrating a high rate of support and substantial assistance for students.

Against this backdrop, applications for the Fall 2025 intake of the Sungkyunkwan University IMBA will officially open on April 28. The application process is conducted entirely online and can be accessed through the official website.

A representative from the Sungkyunkwan University IMBA stated, "The IMBA is the optimal program for nurturing future business leaders, built on a systematic online education system," and added, "It will be an excellent opportunity for prospective applicants considering an MBA for career advancement."

Meanwhile, prior to the start of the application period, an admissions information session will also be held for prospective applicants. The previous two sessions attracted significant interest and concluded successfully. The upcoming third session will be conducted in real time online, allowing anyone to attend freely regardless of location.

In particular, to accommodate overseas residents who previously faced challenges participating due to physical distance or time differences, an online information session using ZOOM will be provided. This will ensure that prospective applicants around the world have equal access to information and can participate without difficulty from abroad.

The information session will provide detailed guidance on the IMBA curriculum and academic schedule, delivering practical information to those preparing to apply. In particular, a real-time Q&A session following the presentation will offer an immediate opportunity to address questions about academic operations. Current students will also participate to share their actual course experiences and study know-how, allowing attendees to gain more realistic insights.
