Police Officer in His 20s Suffers Head Injury and Falls Unconscious in Shooting Accident During Firearms Training

A male police officer in his 20s reportedly suffered a gunshot wound to the head during firearms training and is currently in a state of unconsciousness.
According to the Busan Metropolitan Police Agency on the 16th, a firearm accident occurred at 12:20 p.m. that day at the Gangseo Indoor Police Shooting Range in Daejeo-dong, Gangseo-gu.
As a result of the accident, Officer A sustained a penetrating gunshot wound to the head and was transported to the hospital.
The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
