NH Nonghyup Bank Gyeongbuk Headquarters Donates 200 Million Won in Scholarships to Students Affected by Wildfires

The Gyeongsangbuk-do Education Scholarship Foundation (Chairman Lim Jong-sik) announced on the 16th that a scholarship donation ceremony was held at the Gyeongbuk Office of Education with the Gyeongbuk Regional Headquarters of NH Nonghyup Bank (Head Kim Juwon), where a scholarship fund of 200 million KRW was donated.


This scholarship fund will be used to support students affected by wildfires in the Gyeongbuk region and to discover and nurture local talent. The Gyeongbuk Regional Headquarters of NH Nonghyup Bank has continued its steady donations, giving 500 million KRW in 2023 and 200 million KRW in 2024, and is leading the spread of a culture of educational giving.

Kim Juwon, Head of the Gyeongbuk Regional Headquarters of NH Nonghyup Bank, who attended the donation ceremony, said, "I hope this scholarship fund will be used meaningfully for students going through difficult times," and added, "We will continue to practice warm sharing together with the local community."


Chairman Lim Jong-sik said, "I would like to express my deep gratitude to Nonghyup Bank for their unwavering interest and support every year," and added, "The scholarship foundation will spare no effort to support students so they do not lose their dreams and can achieve their goals to advance into a bigger world."
