Bio regenerative medicine specialist CJ BIO announced on the 16th that it has obtained export approval for its new DNA-based skin booster product, 'QB with PN.'
Through this approval, CJ BIO has secured a global export foundation and plans to begin full-scale sales in select countries including Japan, Hong Kong, and Chile.
This move follows the export approval received in January for the biostimulator product 'QB_PLA.' CJ BIO is expanding its portfolio of aesthetic products and gradually strengthening its competitiveness in the global market.
'QB with PN' is a product utilizing polynucleotide (PN) derived from purified DNA sourced from salmonid fish. It is formulated as sodium polynucleotide containing lidocaine and is injected into the facial dermis and subcutaneous layers to temporarily reduce wrinkles. It also aligns with the global aesthetic trend of 'natural skin recovery' that has recently gained attention.
Notably, the product uses high-purity PN raw materials sourced from Europe. The production process stabilizes the double-stranded DNA structure and minimizes impurities, resulting in high-purity refinement that reduces skin irritation and enhances biocompatibility. Additionally, the inclusion of lidocaine reduces pain during the procedure, and CJ BIO’s proprietary technology minimizes the embosser effect (uneven skin reaction), which is another key feature.
Yoo Hyun-seung, CEO of CJ BIO, stated, "'QB with PN' export approval will serve as an opportunity to actively expand CJ BIO’s skin booster product lineup alongside the existing 'QB_PLA.' CJ BIO will continue to introduce products reflecting the latest global aesthetic trends and establish itself as a leading brand in the market."
