"Donate Trees by Running"... Hyundai Motor Company, Forest Run Campaign

One Donation per Participant
Offline Event Scheduled for the 17th of Next Month

Hyundai Motor Company announced on the 16th that it will conduct the running campaign 'Forest Run 2025,' where participants run together and donate tree planting.

Since 2016, Hyundai Motor has been conducting the eco-friendly social contribution campaign 'Longest Run.' Over the past 10 years, approximately 250,000 participants have joined, donating the planting of 25,850 trees.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Longest Run, Hyundai Motor changed the event name to 'Forest Run' and established a one-person-one-donation model, where one tree is donated for each participant who runs. This year, they plan to recruit 5,000 participants and donate 5,000 trees.

Additionally, to commemorate the launch of this event, Hyundai Motor introduced the mascot character 'Groot' through an online campaign film.

Groot symbolizes the customers who have participated in the 'Longest Run' over the past 10 years, practicing the value of sustainability together with Hyundai Motor. At the same time, Groot is a tree-shaped runner character embodying the core message of Forest Run: 'running together to plant trees.'

The offline event 'Final Run,' which will conclude this year's Forest Run, will take place on the 17th of next month, starting from Yeouido Park's Culture Square, passing over Seogang Bridge, and returning via a turnaround point, covering a total course of 10 km.

Those who wish to participate in this event can apply on Hyundai Motor's official website from the 18th to the 23rd of this month. Existing Longest Run participants can enter the event through Forest Run's official Instagram account by the 22nd to win participation tickets via a lottery.
