Reducing Tax Worries After Retirement... Yeongdeungpo-gu Holds Tax Briefing and Free Consultation Sessions

Yeongdeungpo-gu (District Mayor Choi Ho-kwon) announced that it will operate a 'Visiting Tax Seminar' with tax accountants to resolve tax concerns and provide useful tax information for daily life.

To alleviate difficulties caused by complex and frequently changing tax laws and to provide tax consultations for seniors and small business owners in need, a visiting tax seminar and one-on-one consultations have been prepared.

The first 'Visiting Tax Seminar' of this year will be held on the 17th at 2 p.m. at the Moratmal Senior Welfare Center, operated by the district.

The seminar will explain practical and useful tax information tailored to the audience's level, including tax-saving methods such as inheritance and gift tax, tax deductions related to the elderly, and local tax information useful to know ahead of the July property tax payment month.

Afterwards, seven tax accountants will conduct one-on-one individual consultations. Participants can receive advice on questions related to asset management, real estate taxes, year-end tax adjustments, and tax-saving methods.

Additionally, the district will continue 'Visiting Tax Consultations' at apartment complexes, traditional markets, and alleyway shopping districts until the end of the year. This aims to lower the barriers to consultation and enable many residents to easily and conveniently access tax services.

Choi Ho-kwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo-gu, said, "We hope to resolve complicated tax questions and provide useful information," adding, "We will continue to carry out field-oriented tax administration that can provide practical help to each and every resident."
