Soonchunhyang University Selected for 'Regional Youth Trade Specialist Training Program'

Practical Marketing at Medical Exhibitions in China, Vietnam, the United States, and Thailand
Soonchunhyang University announced on the 10th that it has been selected for the "Regional Specialized Youth Trade Expert Training Program" (GTEP), hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and operated by the Korea International Trade Association, for the 16th consecutive year.
The GTEP project team participated in the Shanghai International Medical Device Exhibition (CMEF), held from the 8th to the 11th, together with INOT, a cosmetics specialist company, and carried out practical marketing activities.
They are also scheduled to participate in medical exhibitions to be held in Hanoi, Vietnam and Chicago, USA in July, and in Bangkok, Thailand in September.
Song Chaewon, a third-year student in the Department of International Trade, said, "I thoroughly prepared based on the practical trade training and domestic exhibition experience provided by the project team," and added, "Through hands-on marketing, I was able to confirm my growth potential as a trade expert."
An Kyungae, head of the project team, explained, "We have focused on nurturing practical talent who can be immediately deployed to the trade field," and added, "It is a great advantage for students to directly experience overseas markets together with companies."
She continued, "We will nurture talent specialized in global industries such as healthcare and medical devices, and expand overseas marketing with a focus on the Southeast Asian market."
