Approximately 60 people from four organizations participated in the drill: Dongbu Fire Station, Bukbu Fire Station, the 119 Special Response Unit (Mountain Rescue Team), and Mudeungsan National Park. The training focused on various scenarios and solutions for different types of accidents, including: ▲mastery of on-site safety management and the use of ropes and other equipment ▲training on rescuing isolated individuals in valleys using rescue equipment ▲rescue of victims according to mountainous terrain conditions.
Moon Hee-jun, head of Dongbu Fire Station, said, "Since mountain accidents make it difficult to determine locations and carry out rescues, it is important to establish an organic cooperation system among organizations," adding, "We will continue to strengthen our on-site response capabilities through ongoing training."
