The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education has partnered with the National Institute for International Education to nurture future talents.
The Office of Education recently announced on the 10th that it will jointly operate the 'Global Leadership Shared School' with the National Institute for International Education.
The Global Leadership Shared School is a future convergence model of the Gyeonggi Shared School that focuses on theme-based English communication learning and exploring international issues to cultivate students' future competencies.
The main educational content consists of two courses: Travel English and International Films, which are conducted through remote training (16 weeks) in the first and second half of the year and residential training.
Additionally, student performance is systematically managed by evaluating pre- and post-improvement through PISA-based global competency assessments, and according to the completion requirements and attendance regulations of the Gyeonggi Shared School.
The 'Global Leadership Shared School,' which started in March this year, currently operates in two regions: Yeoncheon and Paju, with plans for future expansion.
An official from the Office of Education stated, "We plan to strengthen administrative and financial support for the successful establishment and expansion of the Gyeonggi Shared School’s future convergence model, the 'Global Leadership Shared School.' We expect this to cultivate students' global future competencies."
