Ok Changmook, who was inaugurated as the 12th Chief of the Changwon Coast Guard on the 10th, made this request to the staff.

원본보기 아이콘Instead of a formal inauguration ceremony, Chief Ok began his duties by listening to the maritime security situation in the jurisdiction at the comprehensive situation room, greeting staff as he visited each department, and encouraging officers at the Masan Police Substation.
He said, "Please work to create a workplace culture of respect and communication among staff, so that we can become a Coast Guard that serves the people through smooth operations and teamwork."

원본보기 아이콘Chief Ok is a native of Geoje, Gyeongnam, and joined as a police officer in 1985. He has served as Head of Intelligence at the Donghae Coast Guard, Head of General Affairs and Head of Security at the International Intelligence Bureau of the Korea Coast Guard, Head of Academic Affairs at the Korea Coast Guard Academy, Chief of Sacheon Coast Guard, and Head of Rescue and Safety at the Central Regional Coast Guard.
Kim Youngcheol, the former Chief of the Changwon Coast Guard, was appointed as the Head of the Water Leisure Division at the Korea Coast Guard on this day.
