Participated in Pasu 'ManuSec Canada 2025'... Targeting Canada's Manufacturing Security Market

Fasoo announced on the 10th that it participated in the 'ManuSec Canada 2025' conference held in Toronto, Canada, for two days from the 8th to the 9th, introducing cybersecurity strategies for the manufacturing industry.

Following last week's AI and information management conference held in the United States, Fasoo continued its efforts to expand its presence in the North American market by participating in an event aimed at strengthening cybersecurity in Canadian manufacturing.

ManuSec is a global cybersecurity conference focused on the manufacturing industry. It is held in the United States, Europe, and Canada. Canada has large manufacturing companies in secondary industries based on abundant resources. As digitalization accelerates, the demand for cybersecurity solutions is also increasing.

The Canadian cybersecurity market is expected to grow to approximately 3.6 trillion KRW by 2030 due to the increasing frequency of cyberattacks and strengthened government regulations. KOTRA mentioned cybersecurity as the most promising export service to Canada this year.

Fasoo presented cybersecurity measures for large Canadian manufacturing companies. Ron Arden, CTO of Fasoo's U.S. branch, delivered a session titled "Security Challenges in the AI Era: 2025 Cybersecurity for Critical Manufacturing Industries." Through this presentation, Fasoo emphasized a multifaceted approach to data governance to counter the rapid spread of generative AI, accidental or intentional internal data leaks, and increasingly sophisticated cybersecurity threats. He explained that it is crucial to protect data throughout its entire lifecycle and secure comprehensive visibility into the data status, regardless of where and in what state the data exists.

CTO Arden stated, "We must address the non-negotiable critical tasks of protecting intellectual property and confidential data," and emphasized, "To maximize AI utilization capabilities, a realistically applicable strong data protection and management strategy is necessary."

Fasoo introduced its latest data management and protection solutions: the data security solution Fasoo Enterprise DRM (FED) and the data identification and classification solution Fasoo Data Radar (FDR). FED, which leads the global zero-trust data security market, is a solution that applies continuous encryption throughout the entire process from file creation to disposal. It restricts viewing, editing, printing, etc., according to set permissions and provides file usage history and logs, enabling tracking and management of all processes from document creation to disposal.

Fasoo's flagship personal information protection solution, FDR, identifies and automatically classifies data holdings across all storage. It detects sensitive information such as personal data in real time and offers various post-processing functions that can revoke permissions and dispose of data after a certain period. It is widely used for personal information management compliance.
