The KOSPI index surged over 5% in early trading on the 10th following news of the U.S. mutual tariff suspension, triggering a buy-side car on at the Hana Bank headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, where dealers were conducting their work. On the same day, the won-dollar exchange rate opened at 1,446 won, down 38.1 won from the previous trading day.
