Fine M Tech Develops New Material Technology for AI Flexible Displays... Selected for Government R&D Project Worth 7.2 Billion Won 원본보기 아이콘

Fine M Tech, a specialist company in foldable display backplates, announced on the 10th that it has been finally selected for the 'Electronic Components Industry Technology Development (R&D)' project led by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and will proceed with research and development worth a total of 7.2 billion KRW.


The selected project is titled "Development of High-Rigidity, High-Heat-Dissipation Materials and Component Technologies for On-Bios AI Flexible Displays," aiming to secure high-performance materials and component technologies required in the next-generation display industry. In particular, the core focus is on developing key material technologies that can simultaneously achieve high durability and thermal control performance in flexible display applications combined with AI-based on-bios technology.


This research and development will be conducted over approximately 3 years and 9 months until December 2028, with Fine M Tech participating as the lead organization responsible for the overall project execution. The professional institution involved is the Korea Evaluation Institute of Industrial Technology (KEIT), and through this project, Fine M Tech is expected to establish itself as a leading company in AI-display convergence technology.


A Fine M Tech representative stated, "The selection of this project will be an important turning point in securing high value-added core material technologies in the next-generation display industry," adding, "We will contribute to the development of the domestic electronic components industry through the commercialization of globally competitive technologies."
