Gyeonggi Office of Education Offers 'Visiting Personnel Counseling' Until the 25th... For Grade 9 and Long-term Leave Employees

The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will conduct 'On-site Personnel Counseling' in 25 regions within the province from the 11th to the 25th of this month.

The Office of Education will focus its counseling on resolving personnel grievances and supporting stable reinstatement, including not only general grade 9 public officials in the 25 regions but also those on long-term leave due to childcare and family care. Last year, counseling was conducted for general grade 9 public officials in 12 regions.

The counseling program includes ▲explanations of the latest personnel systems ▲public chat Q&A ▲one-on-one face-to-face personnel counseling. Personalized counseling will be provided based on the results of a prior online survey.

In particular, the public chat Q&A allows comfortable communication by utilizing anonymity. Anyone can freely post questions and receive real-time answers from personnel officers.

Additionally, one-on-one counseling is conducted by personnel officers by job series for employees who wish to participate to resolve their grievances.

A representative from the Office of Education stated, "The counseling content will be categorized and reviewed to be reflected in the regular personnel appointments in July," adding, "The Office of Education plans to continue improving the personnel system by actively listening to and reflecting the voices from the field."
