HectoFinancial Expands Comprehensive Supply of 'Barrier-Free Kiosks'

Fintech company Hecto Financial announced on the 9th that it is expanding its supply comprehensively in line with the mandatory expansion of barrier-free kiosks.

Hecto Financial is supplying customized kiosks and solutions using kiosks based on the Windows operating system (OS) made by Samsung Electronics. Last year, it developed a barrier-free kiosk equipped with tactile keypads and voice guidance functions and entered the barrier-free kiosk market by supplying it to 'Twosome Place.' Currently, it is supplying to various industries such as 'Yanolja Cloud' while enhancing its functions.

Recently, it introduced the barrier-free kiosk 'KL Kiosk,' which can be applied to all industries requiring ticketing kiosks, such as general dining stores and theme parks. This kiosk supports five barrier-free functions: ▲wheelchair mode ▲high contrast mode ▲assistant call ▲magnifier mode ▲voice guidance, and it allows stores that have already introduced other companies' POS systems to easily apply the kiosk solution, making sales management and other tasks more convenient.

Barrier-free kiosks are kiosks with improved accessibility so that elderly people and users with hearing, visual, or physical disabilities who have difficulty using existing kiosks can use them easily. According to the amendment of related laws (Act on the Prohibition of Discrimination against Disabled Persons), the installation of barrier-free kiosks has been gradually implemented since January last year, and from January this year, the scope has been further expanded to make installation mandatory in tourist facilities, sports facilities, and workplaces with fewer than 100 regular employees.

Hecto Financial is expanding its PG (Payment Gateway) business capabilities accumulated online to offline by supplying various customized kiosks and PG services, including barrier-free kiosks. The strategy is to differentiate itself from existing companies by leading payment-related services such as various payment methods owned by Hecto Financial, including simple cash payments, card payments, and mobile payments, as well as fast settlement and integrated transaction management support by card companies.
