This housing project, with a total investment of 4.789 billion KRW, consists of one four-story apartment building with a total floor area of 1,327 square meters, and is set to welcome residents in early July.

The complex comprises 20 units in total: 12 units of 58 square meters and 8 units of 39 square meters. Monthly rent is 152,000 KRW for the 58-square-meter units and 101,000 KRW for the 39-square-meter units, which is more affordable compared to nearby cities and counties. Considering the difficulty in finding rental housing in the area, it is expected to become an optimal residential option for local residents without homes.

Bokheung-myeon Public Housing is located in the town center, with convenient access to the administrative welfare center, Nonghyup, elementary and middle schools, a bus terminal, and a health clinic, providing a well-established living infrastructure.

Additionally, a parking lot with 36 spaces is fully equipped, offering a pleasant and convenient living environment. It is expected to significantly improve the residential welfare of housing-vulnerable groups such as newlyweds without homes and young people.

Eligible applicants include newlyweds without homes (including single-parent families), young people, seniors, households with multiple children, and rural study families. Applications can be submitted in person from the 14th to the 18th at the Rural Vitality Division (Public Housing Team) at Sunchang County Office or the General Affairs Team at the Bokheung-myeon Administrative Welfare Center.

County Governor Choi Youngil stated, "The construction of this public rental housing is expected to bring new vitality to the town center and contribute to revitalizing the local economy," adding, "We will continue to strive to provide a stable residential environment and improve the quality of life for our residents."
