Kim Tae-han, CEO of BNK Gyeongnam Bank, was inaugurated as the 16th bank president on the 1st. The inauguration ceremony, held following the outgoing president’s farewell ceremony, was also attended by Bin Dae-in, Chairman of BNK Financial Group, who congratulated Kim Tae-han on his appointment.
In his inaugural speech, President Kim outlined key management directions including realizing localnomics centered on the region, pursuing non-destructive innovation that preserves the essence, implementing a ‘Success DNA’ to strengthen digital competitiveness, and building a trusted organization.
President Kim especially emphasized the importance of customers and the region, stating, “BNK Gyeongnam Bank has existed with the region and must grow together with the region,” and said that BNK Gyeongnam Bank should become a ‘reliable partner of the region.’

원본보기 아이콘He added, “We must cooperate with local governments and regional companies and deeply engage in the lives of customers and local residents.”
After the inaugural speech, a ‘Regional Coexistence H.E.A.R.T Declaration Ceremony’ involving both labor and management was held, during which all employees pledged to participate in practicing ‘warm finance growing together with the region’ through revitalizing local commercial districts for the underprivileged, supporting the growth of the regional economy and enterprises, and social contribution.
President Kim graduated from Masan High School and the Department of Business Administration at Changwon University, and joined Gyeongnam Bank in 1996. He has since served as Branch Manager of Changwon Daero Branch, Head of Credit Review Department, Head of Sales Department, Head of Credit Support Headquarters, Head of Corporate Customer Group, and Head of Investment Finance Group.
