Uljugun Overseas Market Development Team Achieves $21.61 Million in Export Consultations

Achieving Results from Overseas Dispatch to T?rkiye and Romania,
from the 24th to the 31st
Ulsan Ulju County and the Ulsan Regional Headquarters of the Korea International Trade Association announced on the 1st that they dispatched an overseas market development team to T?rkiye (Istanbul) and Romania (Bucharest) from the 24th to the 31st of last month, achieving export consultations worth 21.61 million USD.
This overseas market development team was dispatched to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Ulju County enter new markets, with 10 SMEs specializing in materials, parts, and equipment participating.
Participating companies received various support, including local buyer discovery and matching, interpretation, consultation venue rental fees, and one-way airfare.
At the B2B export consultation meetings held in T?rkiye (Istanbul) and Romania (Bucharest), a total of 90 consultations were held, resulting in a consultation amount of 21.61 million USD and the signing of two MOUs.
Through consultations with buyers, participating companies were able to obtain direct information about the local market and increase the possibility of signing export contracts.
In addition, by visiting the Investment Office of T?rkiye, the Bucharest Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and local companies, and holding meetings, they had the opportunity to understand each country's export regulations and distribution networks and discuss export cooperation.
An official from Ulju County stated, "Through the dispatch of this overseas market development team, we have laid an important foundation for Ulju County companies to enter the global market," and added, "We will implement various overseas marketing support projects to enhance the competitiveness of local companies and contribute to economic revitalization."
