This traveling exhibition showcases 21 works including visual design, furniture, crafts, fashion, and video, all created around the theme of changes in modern Hangeul.
Featured works include "Strangeness, Novelty, and Connection" (Lee Cheongcheong), a fashion piece reflecting the fusion of Eastern and Western cultures as seen in Korean grammar books compiled by foreigners; "Layers of Writing" (Cement), a graphic representation of the beautiful arrangement of Hangeul in modern publications; and "Jitae Chilgi (Hangeul Series)" (Yoo Namgwon), which captures the unique characteristics of various Hangeul titles in lacquerware.
During the exhibition period, a total of nine sessions of the exhibition-linked educational program for young children titled "Colorful Hangeul Fashion Show," themed around "Hangeul and Fashion," will be held.
