Doosan Construction Achieves 2.1753 Trillion KRW in Sales and 108.1 Billion KRW Operating Profit Last Year

Focusing Capabilities on Expanding Projects in Seoul

Doosan Construction achieved sales of over 2 trillion KRW and operating profit exceeding 100 billion KRW last year.

On the 31st, Doosan Construction announced through the electronic disclosure system that its 2024 sales reached 2.1753 trillion KRW, a 27% increase compared to the previous year. Operating profit rose 77% year-on-year to 108.1 billion KRW. Net profit turned positive to 19.8 billion KRW compared to the previous year.


The operating profit marks the highest performance in 10 years, with Doosan Construction maintaining operating profit surpluses for six consecutive years. The company explained that proactive risk reflection for transparent management and brand strengthening strategies were the driving forces behind the improved results.


Doosan Construction’s order backlog stands at around 10 trillion KRW. They conducted a business reevaluation reflecting the changed business environment and excluded long-term non-started projects from the order backlog.


Doosan Construction is focusing its capabilities on expanding projects within Seoul. As the first complex project developer in downtown Seoul, Doosan Construction has been selected as the complex project participant (contractor) for the first Seoul project, Banghak Station project, and the second project, Ssangmun Station East Side project, and is preparing to sign agreements.


The public redevelopment project in Sinseol 1 District, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, is also progressing smoothly. Sinseol 1 District completed integrated review within six months and on the 20th became the first public redevelopment project to complete the project implementation plan approval.


Doosan Construction is also putting effort into technology development and brand strengthening. In particular, it has acquired patents for reducing noise between floors to improve customer satisfaction, as well as environmentally conscious patents such as low-carbon concrete and recycled aggregate concrete. Additionally, it is enhancing brand awareness through brand pattern development and sports marketing activities using its golf team.
