It has become so commonplace that it is hard to remember when we were first amazed and concerned by advertisements featuring AI-generated models. AI technology is now widely used not only in automotive and fashion ads but also in cosmetics commercials featuring human models. But can AI truly convey the taste of a shrimp burger filled with plump shrimp and fresh vegetables?
The shrimp burger has undergone 11 upgrades since its first release by Lotteria in 1980. Junto recreated the evolution of the shrimp burger using AI technology, and although there was no data available for the original 1980 shrimp burger, AI technology perfectly restored its form from low-resolution photos.
With traditional production methods, fresh shrimp would need to be sourced or models created, and all ingredients including fresh red onions, tomatoes, and romaine lettuce would be transported to the studio. Numerous staff would work overnight, and if post-production using computer graphics is included, the process would take at least a month and a half to complete the advertisement.
However, AI media tech company Junto completed a highly polished result in just two weeks using 100% AI technology, creating the sizzle?the visual effect that makes viewers crave a refreshing drink and stimulates appetite?of shrimp, red onions, tomatoes, and a savory sauce blending perfectly together.
Junto operates JuntoAI, a dedicated department specializing in AI research and development, and possesses the technical capability to produce videos identical to actual products using only 20 photographic data points.
The shrimp burger advertisement, created solely with AI-generated images and videos without a single shrimp or knife cut, has become a milestone demonstrating that AI can be applied to F&B advertising. Currently, Junto is leveraging this achievement to launch a solution specializing exclusively in AI advertisements for the F&B industry, targeting various sectors including burgers, pizza, chicken, beverages, and desserts.
