SH Corporation Inspects Infrastructure Construction Sites... "Creating a Safe and Secure Urban Environment"

Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation (SH Corporation) announced on the 31st that it conducted on-site safety inspections to prevent accidents at infrastructure construction sites.

The inspection team, led by SH Corporation President Hwang Sang-ha, visited two infrastructure construction sites in the Seocho-gu area of Seoul on the 28th. The sites visited were ▲ Naegok District external road construction ▲ Shinwoncheon stream construction.

The inspection team focused on checking the construction status and maintenance conditions of infrastructure closely related to citizen safety. In particular, they carefully examined key safety elements of infrastructure such as the structural stability of bridges and retaining walls, and the flood response capability of facilities within the streams.

President Hwang said, "Infrastructure such as roads and streams is critical infrastructure directly linked to citizens' lives. We must identify risk factors in advance and promptly address them to create an urban environment where citizens can live with peace of mind."

He added, "We will continue to strengthen safety at construction sites through ongoing inspections and realize citizen-centered public administration."
