Hana Asset Management announced on the 28th that the '1Q US S&P500 ETF,' which was listed on the 18th, surpassed 50 billion KRW in net assets in the shortest period among domestic ETFs tracking the same index.
As of the previous day, the ETF's net assets reached 68.2 billion KRW, breaking the 50 billion KRW mark within just 8 trading days since its listing.
Hana Asset Management's 1Q US S&P500 ETF offers a differentiated distribution schedule (mid-month distributions in March, June, September, and December), the lowest face value price (approximately 10,000 KRW), and a competitive total expense ratio (0.0055%) compared to other S&P500 ETFs listed domestically. The management fee is 0.0001%, which is among the lowest in the industry. These differentiating efforts are being positively received and accepted by domestic investors.
Hana Asset Management has been actively expanding its ETF product lineup since rebranding its ETF brand to '1Q ETF' last year. This year, it has consecutively launched 1Q US Dividend 30, 1Q Comprehensive Bond (AA- or higher) Active, and 1Q US S&P500 ETFs every month. Kim Tae-woo, CEO of Hana Asset Management, stated, "As a trusted investment partner, we will grow together with our customers," adding, "1Q ETF will focus on providing differentiated investment opportunities."
To commemorate the launch of the 1Q US S&P500 ETF, Hana Asset Management is holding an event for customers who purchase the ETF. The event runs until the 17th of next month. Customers need to purchase at least 10 shares of the 1Q US S&P500 ETF and provide proof of purchase.
