Lydia Ko played at Augusta National last December. She scored 71 and 70 in the two rounds. Lydia Ko said that every time she stepped onto the tee box at each hole, she thought, "Wow, this is completely different from what I imagined."
She described it as "a really difficult course" and laughed, saying, "I'm glad I'm not playing as a competitor in the Masters held here." Lydia Ko added, "The greens are very sloped, so it was really hard to get close to the pin and create many birdie opportunities." She also said, "In the second round, I was able to perfectly finish the trip with a birdie on the 18th hole."
The Lydia Ko couple enjoyed a golf vacation trip playing eight rounds over ten days at Pebble Beach, Cypress Point, and Merced Lake after winning the LPGA Tour HSBC World Championship on the 2nd.
