Samsung C&T is innovating user experiences and pursuing continuous growth through platform businesses that integrate generative artificial intelligence (AI) and ICT solutions.

In August 2023, Samsung C&T launched the next-generation residential lifestyle platform, ‘Homeniq,’ leading a new residential culture. ‘Homeniq’ is an integrated home platform where all services needed for residential life can be accessed in one place. The ‘Homeground’ menu in Homeniq supports functions such as checking maintenance fees, surveys, and communication with the residents' representative meetings, while the advanced security system ‘Homeniq OnePass’ provides residents with a convenient and safe access environment. Users can experience various convenience features such as IoT device control, community facility reservations, and visitor vehicle registration. It helps residents share hobbies and interests and offers essential living items at reasonable prices through Homeniq’s Club, Homeniq Tools, and Apartment Care services.

Samsung C&T collaborates with residential complex management companies and other construction firms to provide Homeniq in apartment complexes beyond Raemian. The number of households using Homeniq exceeded 50,000 within a year and a half of its launch, and recently, the Homeniq platform has been applied to existing complexes such as Mullae Hillstate and Banpo Acro River Park. Expansion plans include not only the Hannam 4 District, which was awarded in January, but also upcoming bidding complexes in Jamsil, Yeouido, and Apgujeong.

In October last year, Samsung C&T launched the commercial building platform ‘Bynd,’ accelerating space innovation and smart building construction. Bynd connects and integrates the entire system that constitutes a building, including infrastructure, facilities, and electronic devices, using technologies such as AI and cloud. It supports over 100 services, including work environment monitoring, smart access, seat and meeting room reservations, and ordering and payment at building retail stores.

Administrators can manage facilities such as fire safety, electricity, and lighting, and control building energy and internal and external environments in real time. General users can use digital twin kiosks to control electronic devices like lighting and air conditioning, call elevators, reserve meeting rooms and shared seats, and check and pay rental statuses.

Samsung C&T stated, "We plan to continuously expand partnerships with leading companies and promising startups in fields such as smart offices, building control, digital twins, proptech, and energy to strengthen the foundation of the platform ecosystem and continuously expand differentiated services."
