As balcony expansion has become a mandatory requirement rather than an option, more construction companies are offering floor plans with various space configurations such as pantries and alpha rooms, even within the same unit size.
In particular, the ‘Changwon Mega City Xi & We’ve’ in Changwon-si, Gyeongnam, which opened its model house on the 21st (Friday) and began full-scale sales, features a 54㎡ unit that, despite being a small size, is designed with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, making it suitable not only for single-person households but also for newlyweds or three-person families. The 59㎡ units all include a master bedroom walk-in closet. A large walk-in closet, rarely seen in the existing 59㎡ units, provides ample storage space, and the 59㎡ C-type even includes an entrance pantry, further enhancing space utilization.
Visitors who toured the units said, “It’s the first time I’ve seen such a large walk-in closet in a 20-pyeong master bedroom,” adding, “Seeing how spacious and practical the spaces are in person makes me really hope to win the subscription lottery.”
For the niche 74㎡ units, all types include a master bedroom walk-in closet and a living room pantry. The B-type, despite being a tower type, features a two-sided open living room, allowing for excellent lighting and ventilation. The 84㎡ A-type includes a master bedroom walk-in closet, entrance pantry, and alpha room. The B-type has a larger bedroom 1 than other types, along with a master bedroom walk-in closet and entrance pantry. The C-type offers a master bedroom walk-in closet, corridor pantry, and a walk-in closet in bedroom 3. The 84㎡ D-type and 102㎡ units include a master bedroom walk-in closet, entrance pantry, alpha room, and a beta room in bedroom 1, which can be used as a study or hobby space within the bedroom.
The community facilities are also noteworthy. The complex includes a fitness center, indoor golf range (including screen golf), and GX room, as well as planned amenities such as a sauna, small library, reading room, senior citizens’ center, kids club, and moms’ station.
Additionally, the community will offer Kyobo Bookstore’s book curation service and breakfast service. The Kyobo Bookstore curation will provide new releases and steady sellers, while the breakfast service allows residents to have breakfast conveniently within the community during busy commuting hours.
Distinctive educational services are also provided. Changwon Mega City Xi & We’ve has partnered with ‘Jongno M School,’ a leading comprehensive education company in Korea, to offer premium educational services to residents’ children. These children will receive discounted tuition fees and access to lectures preparing for elementary and middle school English and math subjects, career counseling and briefings, online education services, and nationwide academic achievement assessments.
The subscription schedule for the complex begins with special supply on March 31 (Monday), followed by first priority on April 1 (Tuesday), and second priority on April 2 (Wednesday). Winners will be announced on April 8 (Tuesday), and official contracts will be signed over four days from April 21 (Monday) to April 24 (Thursday). Financial benefits include 60% of the interim payment interest-free and a fixed contract deposit of 10 million KRW for the first payment. Residents of Changwon-si or those living in Gyeongsangnam-do, Ulsan Metropolitan City, and Busan Metropolitan City who are at least 19 years old, have held a subscription savings account for over six months, and meet the deposit requirements can apply for first priority subscription regardless of home ownership. There are no restrictions on re-winning, resale, or mandatory residence.
