Honam University Department of Taekwondo Conducts Field Training in Water Safety and Lifesaving

The Department of Taekwondo at Honam University will conduct the "2025 Water Safety and Lifeguard Field Training Program" for 20 enrolled students until June 10. Provided by Honam University

The Department of Taekwondo at Honam University (headed by Kim Hyeonghun) announced on the 18th that it will conduct the '2025 Water Safety and Lifeguard On-site Training Program' for 20 current students until June 10.

This on-site training program, which will be held at the Gwangju Yeomju Gymnasium diving pool and the coast, will provide theoretical education on water safety and on-site safety, instruction in CPR methods, and practical coastal training to help students acquire professional skills and lifeguard qualifications.

Kim Hyeonghun, head of the department, said, "We plan to conduct various field training sessions to cultivate personnel needed for actual lifesaving situations when operating taekwondo studios and summer programs."
