The Flex SSD is a compound word combining 'Flexible,' meaning flexibility, and FADU's core business, 'Solid State Drive (SSD),' representing a key strategy for FADU's global business expansion.

At these exhibitions, FADU emphasized the performance and power efficiency advantages of its already launched Gen5 platform, which has become the standard for artificial intelligence (AI) data centers, and showcased the Gen6 controller scheduled for release early next year, highlighting its technology optimized for the rapidly evolving AI infrastructure. The Gen6, referring to the sixth-generation controller, can transfer data at 28GB (gigabytes) per second. Notably, it is twice as power-efficient as the Gen5, which is currently the main controller for AI data centers. Through the Flex SSD, FADU plans to promote its strategy to help customers develop the world's best enterprise SSDs.

First, on the 12th, FADU actively promoted its technology to potential customers through presentations and exhibition booths at the 'China Flash Market Summit (CFMS) 2025' held in Shenzhen, China. Now in its seventh year, this event is held under the theme of 'Reorganizing Memory Storage Environment and Value,' with major semiconductor companies representing Korea, the U.S., and Japan, such as Samsung Electronics, Micron, and Kioxia, participating in large numbers.

Following this, FADU will participate in the 'Makunica Tech Day' held on the 14th in Taiwan to showcase the Flex SSD solution and Gen6 products. Makunica Tech Day is a technology exhibition hosted by Makunica Galaxy, the Taiwanese subsidiary of the Japanese Makunica Group. Through Makunica Tech Day, FADU aims to target Taiwanese companies that serve as a foothold for expanding its global market presence.

Meanwhile, to strengthen its global business, FADU recruited Vice President Kim Taegyun as Chief Business Officer (CBO) at the end of last year. CBO Kim is a global business expert with over 30 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. He gained extensive experience in new business strategy formulation and business promotion while serving as a strategy planning and business analysis leader in the DS division at Samsung Electronics.

CBO Kim Taegyun stated, "FADU plans to offer comprehensive solutions including controllers, firmware, manufacturing, and technical support, while proposing various collaboration models ranging from complete product purchases to joint development according to the capabilities and needs of our customers. Centered on the Flex SSD solution, we will build a customized collaboration model that grows together with our customers through systematic communication."
