Ulsan Future Education Expo to Open in July... Full-Scale Preparation Underway

Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Cheon Changsoo) has formed a support team and officially begun preparations to ensure the success of the upcoming Ulsan Future Education Expo, which will be held in July.

On the 11th, the Ulsan Office of Education held the '2025 Ulsan Future Education Expo Support Team Launch Ceremony' at Jiphyeon Room, where they shared the policy direction and implementation plans for the expo.

The Ulsan Future Education Expo is held biennially, with the first expo taking place in 2023. The event attracted significant attention, with over 42,000 visitors attending over the three-day period.

This year's expo will be held from July 18 to 20 for three days at the Ulsan Exhibition and Convention Center (UECO), and will also be available online. Students, parents, faculty, and citizens will come together to explore the direction of future education and share innovative educational models.

The support team is led by Lee Jaekeun, principal of Ulsan Foreign Language High School, with Lee Seyoun, vice principal of Dajeon Elementary School, and Park Suyeon, vice principal of Hakseong Girls' High School, serving as deputy leaders. The team consists of 26 elementary, middle, and high school teachers, including master teachers, and will support all aspects of the expo's operation.

To enhance spatial efficiency, the event will utilize all three floors of the Ulsan Exhibition and Convention Center.

The first floor will be dedicated to hands-on experience zones, the second floor will feature the Lesson Sharing Hall, and the third floor will host the opening ceremony, forums, and academic sessions.

In particular, the newly established Lesson Sharing Hall on the second floor will serve as a space where teachers can directly demonstrate and share lessons, focusing on realizing student-centered educational innovation.

At the 'Academic Square,' cooperation between departments and institutions will be strengthened, and the 'Experience Hall' learning playground will be operated to provide a variety of hands-on spaces such as the Future Education Hall, Convergence Education Hall, Career Education Hall, Empathy Playground, and Future School Hall.

At the 'Ulsan Education Hall,' local education innovation policies will be promoted and future-oriented educational development models will be showcased.

Lee Jaekeun, the head of the support team, said, "We will prepare thoroughly so that this expo can become a place where the Ulsan educational community can empathize and grow together," adding, "The support team will actively participate to ensure the success of the expo."

Superintendent Cheon Changsoo stated, "This Ulsan Future Education Expo is a meaningful event to share the direction of future education and present innovative educational models," and added, "We will prepare thoroughly so that it can become a significant event where students, faculty, parents, and citizens come together."
