Reappointed as the 21st Chairman, Term Extended Until March 2028
The Korea Electronics Information and Communication Industry Promotion Association (KEA) announced on the 10th that it held its regular general meeting on the 7th and reappointed Han Jong-hee, Vice Chairman and CEO of Samsung Electronics, as its chairman.
Chairman Han, who was re-elected by the industry, will serve as the 21st chairman for three years until March 2028.
As KEA chairman, he emphasized that he will focus on ▲strengthening regulatory response ▲supporting artificial intelligence (AI) innovation ▲expanding communication roles between the government and industry. Chairman Han stated, "In the face of rapidly changing trade environments and the uncertainties confronting our economy, I will take a leading role to ensure the continuous growth of the electronics and IT industries."
