Samsung and KB's Ambitious '4% Annual' Monimo Account, 200,000 Pre-Reservations in Two Days 'Hit'

Samsung Financial Networks announced on the 28th that the number of participants in the pre-registration event for the 'Monimo KB Daily Interest Account,' conducted in collaboration with KB Kookmin Bank, has exceeded 200,000 in just two days. This product offers a maximum annual interest benefit of 4%, successfully gaining early popularity.

According to Samsung Financial Networks, one person participated in the account pre-registration every second over the two days. It is interpreted that Monimo members are responding positively due to the maximum annual interest rate of 4%, which is higher than similar products. Monimo is Samsung Networks' integrated application.

Samsung Financial Networks is conducting the pre-registration event for the 'Monimo KB Daily Interest Account' on the Monimo app until the 6th of next month. Over 10 days, 20,000 people will be selected daily, totaling 200,000, to receive Monimoney worth up to 120,000 KRW. Customers who win the event can receive benefits by opening an account during the subsequent pre-opening period.

The 'Monimo KB Daily Interest Account,' scheduled to launch in April, offers a maximum annual interest benefit of 4% on up to 2 million KRW. Users can receive interest daily and conveniently use the account with free deposits, withdrawals, and transfer services.

A representative from Samsung Financial Networks said, "The number of event participants is about 100,000 per day on average, showing the enthusiastic response to the Monimo account pre-registration," adding, "We will continue to repay the support through various benefits and useful services of Monimo."
