HDC Hyundai Development Company held the '2025 Safety and Quality Management Declaration Ceremony' and announced its commitment to fully promote a corporate culture that prioritizes safety and quality above all else.

At the '2025 Safety and Quality Management Declaration Ceremony' held on the 27th, HDC Hyundai Development Company announced the key safety and quality initiatives for this year and awarded outstanding sites and partner companies. Approximately 190 people attended, including CEO Jeong Kyung-gu, CSO (Chief Safety Officer) Cho Tae-je, site managers, employees, and representatives of partner companies.


Cho Tae-je, CSO of HDC Hyundai Development Company, stated, "Thanks to the dedication and efforts of our partner companies and employees last year, we were able to raise the level of safety and quality. This year as well, we will regard safety and quality as the top priorities and strive to establish them as our culture and spirit. Through the Safety and Quality Declaration Ceremony, we will do our best to create a safe working environment and provide high quality to earn customers' trust, while ensuring that both partner companies and employees share the direction and goals to move forward through communication and cooperation."


HDC Hyundai Development Company plans to create a self-discipline prevention culture involving both labor and management participation and practice for safety. To this end, they will implement △ safety management cycle operation and target inspections and special inspections at each stage of high-risk construction processes △ expanded operation of dedicated personnel for construction machinery and equipment △ strengthened prior review of temporary structure design and enhanced technical support at temporary structure sites △ focused inspections on hazardous site processes.

Furthermore, they plan to strengthen quality by adhering to the basics and principles to restore customer satisfaction and trust. They will conduct focused inspections on key areas such as special inspections and improve the quality management process by strengthening follow-up actions after quality inspections. They will also establish a quality management support system, including data-based management and evaluation of partner companies' quality history and the creation of consultative bodies to improve the root causes of nonconformities.


At the declaration ceremony, the launch of the 31st Safety and Quality Committee, responsible for safety and quality at HDC Hyundai Development Company, and the certification ceremony were also held. The Safety and Quality Committee was established to create accident-free sites through voluntary participation of partner companies and to improve construction site quality by reducing defects through self-quality inspection activities. It is composed of 43 representatives of partner companies registered with HDC Hyundai Development Company.
