4 Dead in Collapse at Anseong Highway Construction Site... Rescue Operations Concluded

Four people died in a collapse accident during construction on the Cheonan~Anseong section of the Seoul-Sejong Expressway.
According to the National Fire Agency, the accident was reported around 9:49 a.m. on the 25th near 6-9 Sanpyeong-ri, Seoun-myeon, Anseong-si, Gyeonggi-do. The fire authorities estimate that the accident occurred due to the collapse of a structure on a bridge pier during expressway construction.
As a result of this accident, four people have died so far, five are seriously injured, and one has minor injuries.
Fearing casualties, the fire authorities issued a Level 2 response around 10:03 a.m., followed by a national fire mobilization order at 10:15 a.m. As of 11:40 a.m., the fire response level has been downgraded to Level 1.
