This LOI was signed to accelerate Chaebi’s business expansion in the North American market and to discuss policy and business support for expanding charging infrastructure in the Texas region. Through this, Williamson County plans to collaborate with Chaebi to expand the installation and operation of electric vehicle charging stations.

Chaebi is the leading electric vehicle charging operator in Korea, managing the largest private-scale ultra-rapid and rapid charging infrastructure with over 5,700 charging points. It provides a ‘one-stop charging solution’ that covers not only charging infrastructure but also platform and service apps. Based on this competitiveness, Chaebi has firmly established its position in the domestic market and has achieved more than triple annual sales growth in the North American market since 2022, marking a full-scale market expansion. Additionally, through cooperation with major Japanese charging operators, Chaebi has gained recognition for its technological capabilities and business viability, further strengthening its presence in overseas markets.

Building on these achievements, Chaebi plans to carry out various collaborations centered on Williamson County, including site selection for charging stations, infrastructure construction, business incentives, and workforce recruitment support. Chaebi aims to establish a cooperation model encompassing sales support for charging infrastructure, financial support, and policy support within Texas and Williamson County, thereby laying a foundation for sustainable growth in the U.S. market.

Choi Young-hoon, CEO of Chaebi, said, "We are very pleased to be able to engage in concrete discussions on business expansion in the U.S. market through this LOI signing," adding, "Based on Chaebi’s high-quality charging infrastructure, we will provide the best service to customers and make this a crucial stepping stone for global expansion."

Chaebi is preparing for an initial public offering (IPO) this year and plans to actively utilize it to pioneer the global market. This agreement is expected to establish a cooperation model with economic development agencies in the U.S., laying an important foundation for sustainable long-term growth in the American market.
