The group organizing the rally is known as the Anti-Election Corruption Prevention Group (BuBangDae), reportedly led by former Prime Minister Hwang Kyo-ahn. BuBangDae announced that they would hold rallies at this location during Acting Chief Justice Moon's commute for a month starting from that day. Participants also raised allegations that obscene materials were shared in an internet cafe for Acting Chief Justice Moon's high school alumni. They shouted slogans like "Porn judge, resign immediately" and "Pornographic video judge Moon Hyung-bae, resign."

During the protest, residents of the apartment and passersby nearby complained about the noise disturbance. However, the protesters continued the rally, saying, "The country is in danger, so we have no choice," and "It will end soon, please understand."

Earlier, on the afternoon of the 13th, when the 8th hearing of President Yoon Suk-yeol's impeachment trial was held, about 90 supporters gathered across from the Constitutional Court in Jongno-gu, Seoul, and criticized Acting Chief Justice Moon as a "child sex offender" and "obscene judge," demanding his resignation. The protesters voluntarily dispersed after police ordered them to disband, ending the event without major conflict.

Online community users, who came under investigation for allegedly conspiring to cause disturbances at the Seoul Western District Court and the Constitutional Court, also launched personal attacks against Acting Chief Justice Moon and others. On DC Inside's pro-President Yoon forums, including the "People Power Party Gallery" (Gukim Gallery), "People Power Party Emergency Committee Gallery" (Bidaeui Gallery), and "U.S. Politics Gallery" (Mijeong Gallery), posts began appearing from the afternoon of the 11th claiming that obscene materials were posted in Acting Chief Justice Moon's high school alumni online cafe, followed by posts inciting attacks against him. Personal contact information found in the obituary notice for Acting Chief Justice Moon's mother was circulated on these boards, leading to "proof" posts showing that people called or sent text messages to him. Subsequently, many related posts were deleted.
