Daejeon 1st Grade Student Dies from Stabbing at School... Teacher Also Taken to Hospital

A first-grade elementary school student in Daejeon was stabbed to death with a weapon.
According to the Ministry of Education on the 10th, around 4:30 PM that day, Miss A did not come to her academy, prompting the academy to contact her home, which led to a police report and the discovery of the incident. With Miss A's consent, the police tracked her phone location and identified it as the school's audiovisual room.
The police who arrived at the scene found Miss A and Mr. B, a teacher in his 40s, collapsed inside the audiovisual room. Miss A was transported to the hospital by ambulance around 5:30 PM but passed away around 7:30 PM. Teacher B was taken to the hospital with her husband.
The school where the incident occurred decided to close on the 11th and is discussing whether to extend the closure.
