Busan Gijang-gun (Governor Jeong Jong-bok) will recruit students for the first half of 2025's "Our Neighborhood Delivery Lectures" and "Visiting Alley Lectures" from the 17th to the 20th.
"Our Neighborhood Delivery Lectures" is a lifelong learning program that delivers lectures at the time and place desired by the learner, while "Visiting Alley Lectures" is a program operated for marginalized groups among the delivery lectures in our neighborhood.
This semester's lectures will recruit 100 courses in the fields of ▲Education & Academics ▲Languages ▲Health ▲Music ▲Art & Crafts ▲Computers & Communications ▲Home & Life, and will run for 10 weeks from March 24 to May 30. Both face-to-face lectures held at locations desired by learners and non-face-to-face lectures using ZOOM, etc., will be operated concurrently.
Applicants must be residents of Gijang-gun aged 19 or older, and face-to-face lectures require at least 10 learners, while non-face-to-face lectures require at least 7 learners to apply. However, alley lectures can only be applied for if composed of 7 or more marginalized groups (▲Basic Livelihood Security Recipients ▲Lower-income groups ▲Disabled ▲Multicultural, Single-parent, or Large families ▲Seniors aged 65 or older ▲Workers).
To apply, refer to the list of instructors on the Gijang-gun lifelong learning website, select a delivery instructor, and then the representative of the students applies for the delivery lecture. Lectures will be opened in order of highest scores according to the scoring criteria table.
A Gijang-gun official stated, "We will continue to prepare diverse lectures to provide broad lifelong learning opportunities to local residents."
