Additionally, the Daljip Burning ritual will be reenacted, where a large bonfire adorned with wishes from the audience is set ablaze and sent up to the sky.
After the Daljip Burning, the festivities will continue with a Daedongnori gutpan, where everyone, including the audience, joins together to celebrate the new year. Pilbong Nongak is recognized for preserving the original value and form of the village gut tradition in Pilbong Village, and this Daeboreum Gut aims to widely promote its authentic spirit and significance.
In preparation for the event, the county has established a safety management plan, thoroughly inspecting for potential hazards in advance to prevent fires or safety accidents related to the Daeboreum festivities and to ensure the event proceeds safely.
County Governor Sim Min said, "I hope that through this event, everyone can let go of the hardships and worries accumulated over the past year, and that 2025 will be a year of good fortune, health, and harmony for all."
