Fire at Gimhae Plastic Processing and Production Factory... Property Damage of About 172 Million Won

At around 11:55 PM on the 4th, a fire broke out at a plastic processing and manufacturing factory in Hallim-myeon, Gimhae-si, Gyeongnam.

Fire authorities, responding to a report from a nearby factory official, deployed 77 personnel and 27 pieces of equipment and extinguished the fire at around 2:09 AM on the 5th.

There were no casualties from the fire, but one factory building of 330㎡, machinery, and plastic processed products were burned, resulting in an estimated property damage of approximately 172 million KRW according to the fire station.

The police and fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the fire.
