Doosan Construction Donates 10 Million Won to Support Ansan Disabled Persons Organization Fund

Doosan Construction announced on the 5th that it donated 10 million won to support disability organizations in Ansan City.

The donation ceremony held the day before was attended by Lee Min-geun, Mayor of Ansan, and Oh Se-uk, Executive Director of Doosan Construction, among others.

The donated funds will be used to support activities aimed at improving the welfare of disability organizations in the region. Doosan Construction stated that it expects the donation to contribute to creating an environment where people with disabilities can participate more actively in society.

Lee Min-geun, Mayor of Ansan, said, "I deeply appreciate Doosan Construction for sponsoring those in need despite the difficult economic situation."

Doosan Construction stated, "Starting with this donation, we will further solidify our identity as a company that consistently practices social contribution," adding, "We will continue various sharing activities based on coexistence with the local community."

Doosan Construction continues various support activities for people with disabilities striving for independence. For two consecutive years, all gallery proceeds from the KLPGA ‘Doosan Construction We’ve Championship’ have been used as funds to support disabled sports and athletes. In November last year, part of the ‘Doosan Construction Usuri Program,’ which collects employees’ leftover wages for donations, was used to support vulnerable disabled groups in Bupyeong District, Incheon.
