Cheongyang County to Provide Up to 7 Million Won for Accommodation Facility Improvements

Cheongyang County in South Chungcheong Province announced on the 5th that, in celebration of the "2025 Cheongyang! Year of Creating a Tourism City," it will provide up to 7 million KRW in facility improvement support for local accommodation businesses.
The main areas of support include: replacement of building exterior walls and signboards, installation of drainage and ventilation facilities; installation of automatic entrance doors and improvement of entrances and windows; repair and maintenance of corridors, stairs, and restrooms; and the creation of other hygienic environments.
Businesses that have received administrative sanctions such as business suspension, have delinquent local taxes, or have already received the same or similar subsidies will be excluded.
Kim Dongon, the county governor, stated, "We will provide safe and clean services so that more tourists can visit Cheongyang during the '2025 Cheongyang Year of Creating a Tourism City.' Through the influx of a large number of tourists, we aim to revitalize the local economy."
