The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced on the 4th that it has newly appointed eight executives to the Korea Copyright Protection Agency.
Yoon In-chon, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, is delivering a greeting at the Korea Copyright Protection Agency executive appointment ceremony held on the 4th at the Korea Copyright Protection Agency in Mapo-gu, Seoul.
원본보기 아이콘The newly appointed executives are Professor Kwon Heon-yeong of Korea University, Professor Kim Ki-beom of Sungkyunkwan University, Director Kim Hyun-sook of the Digital Intellectual Property Research Institute, Foreign Attorney Shin Chang-hwan of Law Firm Lin, Chairperson Jang Jeong-sook of the Manhwa Promotion Committee, Professor Choi Seung-jae of Sejong University, Chairman Ham Seok-cheon of the Choreography Copyright Association, and Certified Public Accountant Song Sang-woo of Law Firm Yulchon. Executive Song Sang-woo will serve as auditor, while the other seven will serve as non-standing directors.
They will deliberate and decide on major matters related to the Korea Copyright Protection Agency's operations for the next two years. Minister Yoo In-chon of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism said, "With the appointment of the new executives, we expect the copyright protection activities of the Korea Copyright Protection Agency to be strengthened, and based on this, the content industry to further develop."
