BNK Gyeongnam Bank is holding the second exhibition at the BNK Gyeongnam Bank Gallery in 2025, the solo exhibition of Jeon Jeomnam, until the 21st.
Under the theme of "Winter Story," this solo exhibition features 29 ink and light color paintings on traditional Korean paper, showcasing works such as "Memory Travel," "Landscape of the Mind," and "The Road to Tongdosa" all in one place.
Artist Jeon has actively continued artistic activities in the region, participating in three solo exhibitions, the Changwon Cultural Foundation collection exhibition, and over 180 group and invitational exhibitions.
He has also received numerous awards in various art competitions, including the Grand Prize and Excellence Award at the Gyeongnam Art Exhibition, Excellence Awards at the 315 Art Exhibition and Seongsan Art Exhibition, a Special Award at the Gimhae Art Exhibition, an Excellence Award at the National Seonmyeon Art Exhibition, and awards at the Korea Art Exhibition.
Jeon said, "Many people cherish precious memories of snow, such as the excitement of seeing the first snow and the happy moments spent making snowmen. I wanted to present an exhibition themed around winter stories to those going through difficult times amid social turmoil. I hope this exhibition becomes a place where hearts can be healed, people can find comfort, and communicate together."
The Jeon Jeomnam solo exhibition is open free of charge to customers visiting the BNK Gyeongnam Bank headquarters and local residents from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays.
Following Jeon Jeomnam’s solo exhibition, BNK Gyeongnam Bank plans to hold the third exhibition at the BNK Gyeongnam Bank Gallery in 2025, a photography exhibition by Lee Cheolho, from the 24th to March 14.
